As we wrapped up the first 15 days of December, I took a closer look at one client’s Amazon performance and compared it with the same date range last year. What stood out wasn’t just growth or decline — it was how strategy shaped the outcome.
📊 December 1–15 Snapshot (This Year):
• 2,130 units ordered
• $194,448.23 in sales
• 1,851 orders
• Average order value: $105.10
📉 Same period last year:
• 1,737 units
• $200,201.36 in sales
While total revenue came in slightly lower year-over-year, unit volume increased significantly — a clear signal that pricing, catalog mix, and customer buying behavior evolved.
Instead of chasing vanity metrics, the focus remained on:
✅ Improving conversion through listing optimization
✅ Strengthening variation structure and catalog clarity
✅ Maintaining healthy order flow during a competitive seasonal window
This kind of comparison is powerful. It shows where momentum is building and where small adjustments can unlock bigger wins going into the rest of Q4 and beyond.
Growth isn’t always about bigger numbers — sometimes it’s about better foundations.
Looking forward to refining strategy, scaling what works, and closing the year strong.
